You can live in the center of Antalya and have easy access to one of the best beaches in Turkey and beyond. Lara Beach is one of the longest beaches in Turkey, stretching for about 12 km. While property prices in the Lara residential area are higher than in other neighborhoods, residents are happy to pay the price for a beach-side urban lifestyle. As you will have noticed, the best beaches in Turkey are almost all found in the province of Muğla in west-central Turkey. From Dalaman Airport you will be spoiled for choice and can explore the beaches of Ölüdeniz, Kabak, Göcek or Içmeler. İçmeler beach is a sandy beach surrounded by nice restaurants offering food at low prices.
The beaches I saw, are so riddled with plastic bottles and bags to the point that it becomes an eyesore. The locals will have to get their act together and organise some cleaning if they are hoping to see serious tourism. On the west side of the island and about 700-800 from the beach, there are 3 drilling rigs.

5 years ago. Save. Hi. I was about to book in a small family hotel (he Aspen) in the old town of Antalya which has excellent reviews on TripAdvisor. The hotel states that it is only a few minutes walk to a sandy beach, but I can only find a really tiny beach on the map, which looks quite crowded with sunbeds. So, my questions are:
